Livingston is a quaint and historic town. There are several historic markers in the center of the town, a town created and organized on the Albany-New York Post by Robert Livingston.

Johnstown 

Named for John Livingston, settler. Livingston post office 1805. Had a revolutionary stage inn and Linlithgo Reformed Church.
